RARE LUFTWAFFE ASSAULT GUN WRAPER FOR A MEDIC
This is superb and very original example of a WWII Luftwaffe Assault Gunners Tunic for a Feldwebel, Field Medic.

The tunic is made in the late war economy cloth in the shade of Green particuar to the Luftwaffe and exactly what such a tunic should be made from. The tunic has honest Field wear though is without moth or other damage,
With the tunic in-Hand, it shows that it was issued originally as a mans (private rank) piece. Over time he was promoted each time, a promoton he added a gull or the tress. The collar tab started out with one gull, as the pins go into the tab only. If you flip the collar over you can clearly see that the other two gulls were added AFTER the tab was already on the tunic as the pins go throught the collar material. The tab is sewn on with a darkgray thread, hand sewn. The NCO tress is then added using an off-whiter thread sewn differently then the tab all showing he added rank as time went on. The shoulderboards also started life as a Private rank and the NCO tress was added later, BUT using the same off-white thread as the NCO tress on the collar.

It has a hand sewn Fallschirmjager cloth badge and loops for two other awards to the right breast. The Luftwaffe Medical patch is also hand sewn to the right sleeve. EK2 ribbon to collar. If you lift the EKII ribbon you can clearly see the fading underneath showing the ribbon has been there forever!
The Lining is in the typical light blue rayon found in late war Luftwaffe Garments. Both size stamps and LBA number stamp are present, though very worn and hard to read. Webbing belt hook straps inside also typical of such a late piece.

All wear is consistent with the insignia and there is nothing to suggest any additions or alterations other than period. This is a tunic you need to have in hand to see how original it is, simply viewing the photos is not enough. I personally was not sure till I had it in hand and was able to see the rank changes this soldier got during the war years.

A very rare and desiarable tunic. Based on what we have seen over the years, I doubt there are more then a few in collections if that! Medals are on for the photos only, not included, but the cloth badeg is sewn on and comes with the tunic.

See part II for more photos of this fantastic tunic!

UNISSUED SA ENLISTED RANKS KEPI
Heres and odd one. An unissued later SA enlisted ranks Kepi. What makes this one special is that it was not used, and by that, it never had the chincord buttons put on. Zero evidence of any hole at all for the chincord buttons. Theres some evidence it had an eagle, but based on the cap, I think someone tried to add it postwar. This kepi shows storage age, but no wearing age, and the fact the chincord buttons were never installed, most likely means it was not used, or finished. Its a great cap, well made, tan cotton twill material. PLUS its BIG, size is a 60! Has a late style RZM tag inside. Kepi color is a steel gray or light gray color with a smooth gilt button on front. Very unique!

ULTRA-RARE NAVAL OFFICERS VISOR CAP WITH EXTRAS
This is a VERY RARE Kreigsmarine officers visor cap. First, its for an Adminstration officer in the Navy. Next, its an eReL double marked visor, plus its named to him with his rank and address, also it has the original Waffle white top and the original box it all came in!
The cap is fantastic! Dark blue navy wool, the blue top is removeable from the cap. The visor has a True black leather visor still soft and in good shape. It has the Original eagle still on it, NOT replaced postwar. The wreath is in a silver bullion wire weave, and it has the officers silver chin cord all for Admistration ranks. Inside is the best! the gold satin liner is stained from use, yes it was worn. The sweatdiamond is completely intact, and the eReL logo underneath. Next, its also marked under the sweatdiamond with the O.K.K. which I believe is specific to the KM. The name label is typed, and has his rank and street address as well as him name on it. The swetaband is brown leather, shows use but NO tears. Its also stamped eReL on the side. A double eReL! The cap size is a 58. NO mothing to the wool, shows use to the overall of the cap, but NO damage.
Next is the White top. Its clean, and has the Waffle pattern to it, fits this exact cap as the blue tops comes off. There's the holes for the eagle still in it!
Last, is the original cardboard box it all came in. The round box is still good, but the lid is slowly opening on the top rim about 2 inches, its still soild, but not in the best shape.
This is a RARE cap, soo many things make it rare, the Adminstration, the name tag and rank, the eReL, the box, and the white top. Normal simple KM officers visor bring 4+ thousand by themselves!
